[REVIEW] Korean cosmetics Honestskin Etude House Color Lips-Fit #PK002

Hello sweeties, I'll be reviewing this new Color Lips-Fit from Etude House which is recently launched in Korea :) I wanted to read others opinion for this lipstick before buying but since I did not found any so I decided to order this in Feb in color #PK002 Silhouette Fit Pink. The one that Sulli and Krystal wear is another color and I also purchased Sulli's color in PK003 last week so I'm excited to see how the turns out!

The packaging of Etude never fails in terms of its cuteness :)

The packaging is of course at the top. Etude House never fails in terms of making cutesy and princessy packaging :D

There are 6 in total of colors for this product and 1 top coat. I guess they're trying to imitate Clio lipnicure though..haha.. Most colors range from bright pink, subtle pink, coral to orange. I think that's the theme for Spring this year. I personally choose PK002 because based from swatches that I seen on youtube, the color is pretty and not too overboard.

It turns out that the color is very neon, you could see from above swatches. I don't think it would suit everyday wear because it was too bright. My first test is before I going to a wedding party and panicked when I saw the color is too bright.

The lipstick dries matte. I actually expected this when I saw their launching ads but somehow the swatches on youtube is way different. It looks moist (?) TT.. I was tricked into buying so there you go, lip cracks and chapped lips starting to appear after a while and it looks so horrible ;(

Many suggest that to scrub your lips before wearing them and yes you can do that to remove chapped lips but it won't change the fact that it will turn nasty later.  I'm not sure how it turns after applying the top coat tho.

I can't really say that it is waterproof. The first time I put the swatches under the water, the color did not budge at all but when I touched it, I can see that it transfer the color to my finger. It smells like a strawberry candy and I think the smell is strong even after I put them on my lips.

Last but not least, I don't recommend anyone with dry lips like mine coz the lipsfit formula is just too horrible. It'll dry and cause uneven color and clumpy on the lips.

1- If you're a sucker of matte lips

2 - Love neon color

You'll hate it :

1 - If you have dry and chapped lips like me

2 - Dislike matte lipsticks

Además todo venía muy bien empaquetado en dos cajas, con plástico de burbujas y un par de muestras gratis. 

PROS: 

- Envío rápido con número de rastreo.

- Grandes descuentos y buenas promociones. 

- Todo venía bien empaquetado envuelto en plástico de burbujas. 

- Web fácil de navegar. 

CONTRAS:

- Muy pocas muestras gratis. 

- El envío no es gratis (aunque el precio es aceptable). 

- Algunos de sus productos no cuentan con descripción. 

OPINIÓN FINAL. 

Éste ha sido el haul más grande que he hecho hasta ahora y me encuentro totalmente satisfecha. Me agradó tanto mi experiencia de compra que decidí hacer una segunda orden, de la cual les hablaré después. Les recomiendo ampliamente HONESTSKIN, aprovechen que nuevamente tienen el 30 % de descuentos en todos sus productos hasta el 31 de diciembre.

Total - 19 days from South Korea to the door of my house. 

This has been one of the fastest shippings I've ever had, because a package from Korea usually takes about 3 weeks to arrive to Mexico and another week from the capital to my city. Plus all came very well packaged in two boxes with bubble wrap and a couple of free samples.

PROS: 

- Fast shipping with tracking number. 

- Great discounts and good promotions. 

- Everything came well packaged wrapped in bubble wrap. 

- Web easy to navigate.

CONS: 

- Very few free samples. 

- Shipping is not free (although the price is acceptable). 

- Some of their products do not have description. 

FINAL THOUGHTS. 

This was the biggest haul I've done so far and I'm totally satisfied. I liked very much my shopping experience that I decided to do a second order, of which I'll talk later. I highly recommend HONESTSKIN, which again have the offer of 30% off on all products until December 31.

As you know there are a lot of different retailer selling asian cosmetics products in the world wide web.

I’m trying to check out different shops in order to see which one offers the best service and good prices on the same time and it’s been a while that I subscribed for honestskin‘s newsletter.

But somehow, although they have a lot of discounts, I never ordered anything myself, but after I read about The Beauty Code’s experience I was curious and applied for the Special Gift Event- and I was lucky to be one of the selected winners of a gift package.

So here is my experience with honestskin so far:

 
   

 Honestskin is an online shopping mall run by the Silicon Two Inc. in Korea. They claim to have authentic products, a huge range of different products and fast delivery. They ship internationally, too. Their page is easy to navigate and already displays all the different brands they offer on the front page.

 
   

As I said, I follow their newsletter for quite some time and I recognized that they offer a lot of different discounts and special sales.

The only downside is, that they don’t offer free shipping.

 Instead, they have a way to collect the shipping price in dependence to the amount of items you buy.

If you buy 1-3 items you pay 5 US$, for 4-6 items you will already pay 9 US$…(see details >>here<<)

Actually, it would be better to pay for the weight instead of number of items.

So, apart from their regular discounts they have also this so called special gift event you can apply for.

They also seem to have other events from time to time, like the Sponsor Event they offer at the moment (if you are a blogger you should try to apply for it ;) ).

In the event I took part, I received a package containing three korean beauty products.

The parcel arrived after 11 days of shipping, which is a good shipping time for packages from Korea. All three items were packed in bubble wrap. I received  Iope Super Vital Cream VIP Special Gift, Etude House Color Lips-Fit in shade #OR201 Dream Fit Coral and Nature Republic Collagen HD Essencial BB Cream. The products were undamadged, too :)

Gift Box from Honestskin + Short Review

Around two months ago, Honestkin had a gift box event and I tried it. Luckily I am one of the lucky person to have the gift box so here I am today to share with you what's inside the box. ;)

Honestskin is a shopping mall based in Korea which sells Korean cosmetics internationally. Honestskin holds event very frequently, so far I have purchased two or three times when they're having a sale.

The package took around 1 week to arrive at my home. I'm quite surprised, never thinking that it would arrive this fast, considering my first experience with Honestskin was not that good, but now the story has changed. :D

So what's inside the box?

1. IOPE Moistgen Special Gift Set

The trial kit consists of complete set of moistgen line products in travel size.

The softener (=toner) is a type of toner which looks like water. Honestly I prefer this kind of toner than the thick-textured one, so it can help to remove excess dirt and makes skin fresher.

The serum comes in white color, the texture is not so thick.

The emulsion also comes in white color but in thicker texture. I always have problem with travel size emulsion since it’s hard to squeeze out the product >.<

The eye cream is not too thick and gives sufficient moisture to my eyes area, without making it too moist and it’s fastly absorbed into skin.

Lastly the cream feels so fresh at skin, I like the cold sensation.

All of them has a nice scent. So far I don’t have problem while using them for two weeks, my skin condition has become better and there is no new breakout since I’m using it. 

Honestly I haven’t tried this at all because I’ve been using the IOPE’s so I can’t make review about it.

4. The Face Shop Real Nature Mask #Rice & #Blueberry

Rice: a mask sheet that has rice extract keeps the skin spot-free and bright.

Blueberry: has blueberry extract that is helpful to regain the skin’s softness and youthful impression

5. It's Skin Baby Face Petit Blusher #4 Sweet Peach

This product is a must have! Why not? The cheap price, cute packaging, matte finish, and great pigmentation are several reasons of why you must have this product XD Though I like glowy finish better than matte finish hehehe.. And the coral color is buildable, whether you want it light or more vivid on your face.

6. Etude House Sunprise Super Aqua SPF35/PA++

Cool type sun cream with strong sun protection giving rich moisture. Light and fresh daily sun cream contains powder emulsion giving non-sticky application. Formulated with mangosteen, Lotus Flower, and Aloe Extracts for skin soothing relief.

This is my first time using Etude House sunblock. I like how it doesn’t feel sticky and quickly absorbed into skin. Moreover, the scent is so nice! I wish I had a perfume with the same scent XD It’s good for everyday use, but I think the SPF is not enough for a long time outdoor activites under sunlight, like on a beach.

7. Etude House Color My Brows #2 Light Brown

I have reviewed this product before but in color that matches my hair color better. This shade is too light for me >.< And sorry for the messy application, never good at applying eyebrow mascara ^^”

8. Etude House Surprise Concealer Kit #02 Dark Circle Brightening

The surprise concealer kit comes in two color and one mirror. The mirror somehow looks blurry, that’s why I prefer to use other mirror 

The left side is peach color as corrector while the right side is beige color as concealer. The texture is quite thick so please don’t apply too much or else it will look cakey after several hours.

9. 3 Concept Eyes Pencil Gel Liner #1 Cats

I’ve been eyeing this eyeliner for a long time and finally I can tried it now. It’s not as good as the gel eyeliner I should say, it smudge on my eyes at the end of the day, leaving my eyes look like panda T.T But the color is very vivid and black, as you can see on the swatch above. 

Overall, I think this gift box contains products with good value. I like how they put several brands product and there is skincare and also makeup inside. :D
